Calcutiv was founded on a simple observation: trucking fleets invest heavily in telematics hardware — GPS, geofences, engine diagnostics — but the data doesn't always make it into the operational systems that run the business.
Dispatch still calls drivers for ETAs that GPS already knows. Detention billing lives in spreadsheets despite geofence data proving every minute. Maintenance alerts sit in dashboards nobody checks.
We started with the biggest pain point — detention billing — and built FleetOptos, now available on the Geotab Marketplace. But our mission is broader: to make every piece of fleet telematics data actionable.
